History & Background

Mr. Soto Colovos founded the company in 1973 as a sales representative distributing pressure washers and pumps expanding into importing woodworking and metal working tools to Sears (Professional DIY applications) and Grainger (Industrial) headquartered in Chicago. In 2001 The Company established a 100% ESOP S Corporation and purchased all stock from Mr. Colovos and continues to employee 30 people in a 100,000 SQ Ft. facility that combines as a distribution and headquarters for North America distribution.

The company financial reporting is segmented into three businesses with Colovos Company currently comprises 72% revenues in Wood Working and Metal Working machine tools. Ortho Seating comprises 21% revenues which include contract office seating, assembly seating, automotive stools and highly engineered motorcycle parts. Palmgren Steel Products reports 6% revenues which distribute work holding and cutting equipment for metal working applications.
